Ray E Kilmer Elementary School in Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for an Elementary Instructional Coach beginning with the 2023-24 school year. Must have, or be eligible to receive a Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsement. Must have a minimum of 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience. The instructional coach should be well versed in instructional pedagogy focusing on enhancing teacher ability to provide instruction that builds student understanding and skills; is academically rigorous; addresses the curriculum standards and frameworks; and enhances student sense of engagement in and ownership of learning. This is a full-time position the only benefit will be paying into Colorado PERA Retirement Program. In order to be considered for this position, you must complete our on-line application on or before the deadline date of June 27, 2023. The start date for new teachers is August 3, 2024.
Exact placement on the salary schedule can only be determined by the Executive Director of Personnel upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 9 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 10, per school board policy. The current teacher salary schedule can be found on our website.
Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and a life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual. However, employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans. All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA.Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and afforded to all persons in accordance with Colorado law.
