Accounting Manager

Our client is a successful, stable and growing manufacturing company. They are looking to hire an Accounting Manager to assist their COO in getting more organized and efficient as the company has gone through some strong growth. They are looking for someone with prior management experience to join the team. This is a full-time, permanent position working onsite and offering a salary of $110,000 to $120,000 plus bonus.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- You will report to the COO and manage day to day accounting for the company
- Oversee a team of three
- Evaluate current processes, offer improvement ideas
- Heavy involvement in month-end close, workpapers, reconciliations, etc.
- Will also be hands on with job costing and financial analysis
- Assist outside auditors with year-end audits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5 years of accounting experience required, CPA license is a plus
- 2 years of supervisory/management experience preferred
- Strong systems skills
- Top notch organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across the company
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with company executives
