LHH is partnering with a client in the Overland Park, KS area, who is seeking a Compensation Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our company's compensation strategy to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices. This role involves conducting market research, analyzing compensation data, and collaborating with various departments to support our overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the organization's compensation strategy.
• Analyze job duties and responsibilities to determine appropriate compensation levels.
• Evaluate the organization's pay structure to ensure it is competitive and fair.
• Conduct salary surveys to analyze the organization's compensation practices against competitors.
• Work closely with HR and finance departments to understand the impact of compensation decisions.
• Prepare reports summarizing compensation data and analysis results.
• Present compensation recommendations to management and justify these suggestions with data.
• Ensure the company's compensation practices comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
• Review and revise compensation policies and procedures as necessary.
• Auditing Data Integrity
• Leveling and pricing jobs in Workday Software
• Reviewing and approving tasks (promotions, lateral moves, bonuses, etc.)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis.
• Knowledge of compensation strategies, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in using HRIS and compensation software- WORKDAY REQUIRED!!!
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Charts, Graphs).
Job Details:
Job Title: Compensation Analyst
Location: Overland Park, KS
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)- fully onsite
Compensation: $30-40.00ph.
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Salary : $30 - $40
