What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Support Specialist position at LHH?
LHH is working with a client that specializes aerospace, military, and medical products in Southwestern Connecticut who is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist. This is a full time, direct hire, on site opportunity.
THIS IS MANUFACTURING QA POSITION
Key Responsibilities :
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions for quality improvements.
- Conduct inspections to ensure product conformance, including evaluation of supplied products, work-in-process, and final inspection.
- Manage FAA Repair Manual.
- Support the maintenance of Hoffman's Quality System (ISO 9001, AS9100, FAA, TUV).
- MUST have experiance with internal and external audits.
- Create and maintain First Article Inspection Reports.
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
- Contact vendors for certifications and corrective action responses.
- Monitor expiration dates of items (adhesives, inks, etc.).
