About the Role:
Liberty Education Solutions is seeking a compassionate and reliable female Instructional Assistant to support a 12th-grade male student with Autism in an in-person school-based setting. This is a part-time, 1:1 support role requiring 23 hours per week. The selected candidate must be willing to wear a mask while working with the student.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 academic and behavioral support throughout the school day
- Support the student with staying on task, transitioning between activities, and managing sensory needs
- Collaborate with school staff and caregivers to promote consistency and progress toward IEP goals
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Track daily notes and progress updates as needed
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or individuals with Autism (preferred)
- Female candidate (required for this placement)
- Willingness to wear a mask at all times when on site
- Ability to commit to 23 in-person hours per week
- Must have or be willing to obtain necessary clearances (FBI, Child Abuse, PA State)
- Associate’s degree or higher Required
