What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Trainer and Auditor position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: This position is the face of the patient experience which provides department education and training regarding changes within the registration process in all areas of the hospital. Responsible for training new staff. Monitors and reviews registration completed by staff. Maintains statistical reports for staff and leadership review.
Required Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience: Two (2) years' hospital patient registration experience; ability to multi-task, strong computer experience, outstanding customer service skills, basic mathematics and payment processing; ability to remain calm and professional
Preferred Education/Training: Associate's or advanced degree
Preferred Experience: Educator/trainer experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)
