What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology RN [Cath Lab/IR Prep and Recovery] position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: Responsible for the delivery of professional nursing services in the Department of Radiology. Works with the Radiologists and the Technologists to provide comprehensive and quality care for patients in the Radiology setting. Confers with the departments regarding the specific imaging tests and coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
Required Education/Training: Graduate from a nursing program
Required Experience: 3 to 5 years nursing experience
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS; ACLS (within 6 months of hire)
Preferred Education/Training: BSN or MSN; graduate from an accredited nursing program
Preferred Experience: Previous Radiology RN, critical care or emergency room RN experience
