What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Nurse [GI Lab] position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: Completes patient assessment. Develops and implements individualized plan of care. Performs nursing care and appropriate nursing interventions. Confers with physician regarding changes in patient condition. Assesses, develops, and implements patient education. Documents activities.
Required Education/Training: Graduate from a nursing program
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS (Amercian Heart Association or American Red Cross); ACLS within 60 days of hire/transfer
Preferred Education/Training: BSN; graduate from an accredited nursing program
Preferred Experience: Six (6) months patient care experience; recent experience performing procedures that require sedation
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse; ACLS
