Position purpose
The Channel Partner Manager for HVAC Sales for Hughes Environmental will use their significant experience in the HVAC service and mechanical contracting industries to establish and maintain relationships to grow channel partner sales.
Role and Responsibilities
High energy sales professional and channel partner manager --– goal-oriented, success-driven individual with a record of exceeding expectations and earning the rewards of a top sales producer.
Increase Hughes service sales by growing current channel partner network and establishing strong partner relationships.
Conduct trainings for channel partners, educating them on all Hughes services and value.
Assist channel partners with client sales calls when necessary.
Prepare channel partner proposals when necessary.
Prepare “Master Agreements” for Channel Partners.
Assist channel partner with client service issues when necessary.
Represent Hughes Environmental with professional presence. Must be able to present products, services, and value in a compelling and consultative manner. Represent Hughes Environmental at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events as necessary. Have the ability to present our value and to educate industry professionals as necessary.
Ensure effective internal communications with sales, customer service, marketing, and operations. Must work consistently and collaboratively with all internal teams.
Occasionally meet with mechanical contractors and engineers to educate them regarding codes and the company’s services.
Maintain the company's contact management database, complete weekly activity update, and meet with management on a regular basis to ensure performance, strategy, and results.
Job Requirements
Minimum of three years’ experience closing business in an HVAC service industry or mechanical contracting environment with a verifiable track record of accomplishment.
Minimum of two years successful channel partner sales experience.
Ability to travel to train, motivate and grow relationships with the channel partner network.
Bachelor's degree (strong industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement)
Above average communication skills, customer service and presentation skills, and professional demeanor.
Self-motivated, positive attitude, very strong self-belief. Driven to succeed with minimal supervision from a remote home office.
Must be proficient in MS Office and overall sound technical knowledge of computers.
Desired Location: Louisville or within a four-hour driving distance of Louisville
