Medical Assistant

LifeWorks Wellness Center is looking for a highly motivated Modalities Technician. Our clinic is expanding at a rapid rate, and we are looking for people who want more than just a job, they want the opportunity to truly improve people's lives.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate and loves to help. This individual must have 1 year of Medical Assistant experience and mut have completed Medial Assisting Schooling.

Your duties as a Modalities Technician would include:

· Delivering modalities treatments to a patient (training provided on delivering that specific treatment)

· Ensure all of the proper consent forms are signed by each patient

· Enter all notes into patient chart for all treatments.

· Follow up with all patients to ensure the patient follows their treatment schedule.

· Perform the set up and clean up checklist on the equipment to prepare for patient use.

Education and/or Experience:

· Medical Assistant Schooling.

· Graduate of Highschool/GED or equivalent.

· 2 years in healthcare.

· Familiarity of medical terminology.

· Intermediate computer skills

· The ability to study and learn quickly

· Superior communication and patient service skills

Language Skills:

Must speak English. Must have excellent interactive communication skills, making patients feel comfortable and at-ease.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, must be able to stand for periods up to 7 hours at a time caring for patients.

Hours:

• Saturday/Sunday-5:30AM-1:30PM
• Saturday/Sunday-1:30PM-9:30PM
• Saturday/Sunday-11:30AM-3:30PM
