Education:

• High school diploma or GED

Experience:

• Previous contract closeout experience preferred.

Demonstrated Knowledge and Skills:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to successfully pass a U.S. Government security investigation.
• Highly proficient in computer technology (Word, Excel) and adaptive technology such as screen magnification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial.
• Must be team oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of federal and state government procurement policies and procedures.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and commitment to confidentiality is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Familiarity with or willingness to be trained in:
  • Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2)
  • MyInvoice
  • Electronic Data Access (EDA)
  • Shared Data Warehouse (SDW) reports
  • Mechanization of Contract Administration Services (MOCAS)
  • DFAS payment histories
• Will be trained on and expected to learn other government-specific procurement systems and customer SOPs during work hours.

Physical Demands:

• Moderate physical effort, such as standing/sitting, walking, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Prolonged periods at the keyboard and workstation reading, researching, keyboarding, calculating, etc.
• Prolonged use of visual aid devices.

Requirements:

• Pass and maintain required security clearance.
• This is a fully on-site position located at our Orlando office. Candidates must have reliable transportation and the ability to commute consistently to the worksite.
• This position requires employees to be legally blind due to government contract/AbilityOne requirements. Must provide documentation from an ophthalmologist of legal blindness. Legal blindness is defined as: “Central visual acuity does not exceed 20/200 in the better eye with correcting lenses OR whose visual acuity, if better than 20/200, is accompanied by a limit to the field of vision in the better eye to such a degree that its widest diameter subtends an angle no greater than 20 degrees.” These conditions are based on the federal Javits-Wagner-O’Day work program for legally blind individuals.
