Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance:Â Support the dentist during procedures, managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Patient Care:Â Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
- X-Ray Imaging:Â Capture dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols.
- Patient Education:Â Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options.
- Records Management:Â Accurately update patient records and dental charts in EHR systems.
- Infection Control:Â Strictly follow sterilization and disinfection protocols.
- Appointment Scheduling:Â Help manage and confirm patient appointments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support.
- Must have current CPR Certification
- Must have Coronal Polishing Certification
- X-ray certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in dental procedures and instrument handling.
- Thorough understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards.
