What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLC Family & Neighborhood Specialist, 8 hrs/day, 260 days position at Lincoln Public Schools?
The CLC Family & Neighborhood Specialist will be a high-energy multi-tasker with dynamic leadership ability who builds coalitions and partnerships. This Specialist will work to build social capital for Community Learning Center sites by collaborating with and coaching CLC School Community Coordinators to foster relationships with parents and potential community neighborhood partners, and developing the skills and engagement of parents and neighborhood leaders to take on greater leadership roles within the neighborhood and at the various CLC schools across the district.
This position will work with CLC School Community Coordinators to lead CLC sites in Asset Based Community Development to determine assets and needs at each of the sites and strategically assist with coordination of family and neighborhood engagement programming to best meet the needs of each CLC site.
Hours - 8:00am to 4:30pm (Some evenings & weekends required for pre-planned events).
Salary: $45,000-$55,000 per year plus benefits
