Quality Manager - Automotive

Job Title: Quality Manager (Automotive)

Highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager with a strong background in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and improving our quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with IATF 16949 standards.
• Lead and manage quality assurance processes, including PPAP, APQP, and GD&T.
• Ensure compliance with Q1 standards and maintain Q1 certification.
• Utilize CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for precise measurement and quality control.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green or Black Belt preferred).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide training and support to staff on quality systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or Manufacturing Quality Management

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the automotive industry.
• Certified Green or Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and quality systems.
• Experience with PPAP, APQP, and GD&T.
• Proven track record of maintaining Q1 certification.
• Proficiency in using CMM for quality control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
