As a Biology Teacher at Links Academy, you will bring science to life through personalized, one-on-one instruction that fosters curiosity and a deep understanding of the natural world. You will guide students in grades 6–12 through topics such as cellular biology, genetics, ecology, and human anatomy while connecting scientific concepts to real-world applications. With small caseloads and a flexible, supportive environment, you will have the time and autonomy to create meaningful learning experiences that match each student’s pace and goals.
What You’ll Need

What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- At least two years of experience teaching middle or high school Biology
- Teaching certification preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for inspiring students through hands-on, inquiry-based instruction
- Design and deliver individualized Biology instruction across multiple levels, from general to advanced or AP courses
- Create labs, projects, and activities that make complex concepts engaging and accessible
- Integrate cross-disciplinary connections between biology, chemistry, and environmental science
- Track and document student progress using digital tools to guide instruction
- Communicate regularly with students, families, and administrators to ensure consistent academic support
