As a Part-Time World Languages Teacher at Links Academy, you’ll help 6th through 12th grade students build confidence and mastery in reading, writing, and speaking another language through fully individualized instruction. You’ll design lessons that connect language to students’ personal experiences and goals, foster engagement and a lifelong love of learning. Working within a flexible, college-preparatory environment, you’ll collaborate with a supportive team that values creativity, independence, and student growth.
What You’ll Need

What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in World Language Education, Spanish, French or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least two years of experience teaching middle or high school language
- Teaching certification preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for creating meaningful, personalized learning experiences for every student
- Design and deliver one-on-one language instruction tailored to each student’s academic level and learning style
- Engage students in language skills development — reading, writing and speaking
- Incorporate real-world connections and diverse perspectives into lessons to inspire curiosity and understanding
- Track and document student progress using digital tools to inform instruction and ensure accountability
- Communicate regularly with students, families, and school leadership to support ongoing success
