What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager - University Counseling Center position at Lipscomb University?
This position will provide case management/bridge care for clients needing assistance connecting to community mental health resources. As well as assisting with intake appointments and providing triage/walk-in counseling support to students as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the university
• Schedule referrals and track interventions/referrals and data outcomes
• Maintain up-to-date mental health and social services resource list
• Build and maintain working liaison relationships with campus, local and regional referral resources
• Provide case management/bridge care for clients being referred to community resources. As well as mental health-related education and emotional support to students
• Provide crisis/triage assessment and response to students as needed
• Provide outreach programming and consultations to the campus community as needed
• Maintain appropriate and timely documentation for recordkeeping
• Participate in departmental & university-wide events
• Maintain all relevant ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice as relevant to specific mental health credentials in the state of TN
• Maintain licensure as relevant to credentials (if applicable) within the state of TN
• Coordinate one or more areas of Counseling Center service as requested by the Director
• Maintain compliance with Counseling Center Policies and Procedures
