We are seeking a dedicated Family Support Coordinator to join our team and be a vital resource for caregivers navigating ABA services and behavioral challenges. This role is an integral part of our collaborative care model, aimed at empowering caregivers and ensuring they have the tools, education, and emotional support they need to help their children thrive.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional and practical support to caregivers of children receiving ABA therapy.
- Educate and coach caregivers on ABA principles and how to implement behavior support strategies at home.
- Conduct regular check-ins with caregivers, offering guidance on managing challenging behaviors and reinforcing therapeutic techniques.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and ABA therapists to ensure consistent, individualized caregiver support that aligns with clients' treatment plans.
- Assist caregivers with accessing community resources and additional services to support their child's growth and development.
- Monitor and address caregiver concerns, stressors, and needs, creating a feedback loop with the clinical team for holistic care.
Qualifications:
- A master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, special education, or a related field is required.
