Alice's is seeking hardworking individuals to join their team!
The Host is the first impression guests will get of the restaurant whether it is on the phone or when they come in. Hosts must be well groomed, even tempered, agreeable, well-spoken and fast witted. Hosts, in conjunction with the kitchen, keep the pace of the restaurant even and efficient.
General Job Description:
- To welcome guests with genuine warmth and hospitality.
- Provide guests with estimated wait times.
- Input guests information into reservation system properly.
- Guide guests to their proper table.
- Bid guests a warm farewell when they are leaving.
- Performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glass, menus, vacuuming, etc.
- Ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked and in order.
- Following proper uniform guidelines.
- To promote teamwork within the restaurant participating in a positive work environment
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant is preferred but not required. We will provide all in house training to non-experienced employees.
- Exhibit an assertive and professional appearance.
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- Ability to be on feet for 6-8 hour shifts.
- Capability to effectively and professionally communicate on the telephone.
