Description
Loden Vision Centers is a growing private practice with a luxury optical boutique. We are seeking an experienced, ambitious, motivated, sales oriented individual with exceptional customer service skills to join our team at our main location in Goodlettsville, TN!
HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm or until the last patient leaves. Some travel to other locations may be required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for interpreting prescriptions written by Optometrists and Ophthalmologists
Conducting patient visual needs assessments
Recommending frames and lenses
Calculates insurance co-pays based on insurance eligibility
Prepare work orders for the optical lab
Verify, dispense, and adjusts eyeglasses
Create and maintain displays of optical merchandise
Maintain inventory within the optical department
Demonstrate outstanding customer service and leadership in optical
Learn the policies and procedures necessary for opening, closing, and operating the optical department

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent required
1 years of experience in customer service required
Demonstrated computer literacy, proficient with practice’s EMR
Strong knowledge of daily operations and patient flow
Wide-ranging knowledge applicable to eye care and current trends in eyewear
Extensive experience and understanding of all aspects related to operations of a modern optical dispensary
Working knowledge of inventory management, eyewear sales, and basic financial management
Ability to motivate and train professional staff
Deliver exceptional customer service skills
Able to work calmly in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on quality and accuracy
Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA statutes/regulations, and policies/procedures
