Description
Loden Vision Centers is looking for a full-time Billing Specialist to join our team.
Job Type: Full-time & Part-Time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Post payments: Post payments received from patients and insurance companies
- Balance payments: Balance posted payments at the end of the day
- Identify and resolve issues: Identify and resolve payment posting issues
- Process billing statements: Process billing statements and keep accurate billing records
- Conduct audits: Conduct audits for each billing cycle
- Assess explanation of benefits (EOBs): Assess EOBs from insurance companies
- Report discrepancies: Report discrepancies to accounting

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED certificate required
- Experience in other clerical or billing positions preferred
- Deliver exceptional customer service skills
- Able to work calmly in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on quality and accuracy
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA statutes/regulations, and policies/procedures
