The Minibar Attendant performs all duties associated with minibar including restock, cleaning and servicing of all minibar refrigerators and pantry items.
Job Specific
- Inventories guest room refreshment pantries to determine consumption by guest
- Prepares refreshment pantry charge ticket and forwards to appropriate cashier for billing to guest account
- Replenishes refreshment pantry items consumed
- Inspect refreshment pantry contents and maintains freshness of product
- Cleans and maintains refreshment pantry appearance to established standards
- Removes consumed amenity items and/or room service trays from guest rooms
- Completes DND/No Service, inventory and in-house guest list paperwork
- Communicates discrepancies regarding refreshment pantry usage to captain
- Restocks and rotates refreshment pantry attendant cart supplies
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One plus years experience as Food Service /Room Service Attendant in quality food service/hotel operation
- Thorough knowledge of quality food service techniques and standards
- Exceptional guest service attitude and abilities
- Ability to lift, carry, and push carts weighting 35 pounds
- Ability to bend and walk for long periods at a time
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
