What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Packer position at Lone Star Bakery, INC.?
The Production Packer performs a variety of light manufacturing and assembling duties while following employee safety and good manufacturing practices.
Pay starting at: $12.00/1.00 shift differential for second and third shfts.
All shifts available.
Job Duties
- Package, unload, and assemble production goods.
- Transfer work-in-process from conveyors to other areas of assembly.
- Inspect production goods, containers, and packaging materials and ensure that they meet quality, food safety and packing standards.
- Communicate frequently with Leadership to report quality issues.
- Maintain a clean work area that is free and clear of foreign objects and materials.
Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.
- Ability to work at steady and continuous pace and to keep up with manufacturing production.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends; flexibility required.
- Team player with a positive work attitude.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
