What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Long Branch Animal hospital?
We are a close knit growing small animal practice seeking a detail-oriented, team player to join our special family part- or full-time. You will be expected to participate in multiple facets of the practice including clinical history taking, Dr. assistance, restraint, client education. You must possess strong communication and multi-tasking abilities. Phlebotomy, lab prep, anesthesia monitoring experience, intubation, surgical experience, and catheter placement skills required. Nights and weekends are mandatory. Compensation based on experience.
Experienced technicians able to draw blood, place IV catheters, intubate patients, calculate injectable medications, and monitor anesthesia according to AHHA guidelines can expect to be in the $19-$25 range.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
