What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructor - GED position at Looking Glass Community Services?
As the GED Instructor, you will be responsible for providing students with instruction designed for the GED exams. You will be providing instruction to at-risk youth in a small group setting (6 - 10 students per class) at the Riverfront School.

The Riverfront School is an accredited alternative school that partners with local school districts to provide individual education opportunities to youth. Riverfront's mission is to "guide and support youth in developing the knowledge, responsibility, and the social skills necessary for productive citizenship."
Successful GED Instructors have strong mathematical skills and are working towards or have a Bachelor's degree in education, social services, business-related, or a related field. As a youth mentor and role model, you will be motivating students regarding their educational goals. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with at-risk and learning-delayed youth is preferred. You must have strong math skills and be able to help students with algebra and geometry.
