Applications may be rejected if incomplete.* FUNCTION OF WORK: To provide skilled installation, maintenance, and repair on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units in large office buildings, hospitals, and multi-building complexes. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of heating, ventilating, or air conditioning systems. SUBSTITUTIONS: Training in the installation, operation or maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems will substitute for the two years of required experience on a month for month basis. NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: As of November 14, 1994, employees must possess the appropriate EPA refrigerant recycling and recovery certification for technicians (as required under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act, 1990).
