• Lovelace Regional Hospital includes 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, surgical and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community.

Responsibilities

Provides personal, equipment, and property security for assigned area. May provide information, directions, and escort service as needed. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Completed security guard training though an approved agency Level I and II or obtain within 6 months of hire
• Will be certified in taser, baton and handcuffing.
• Trained in de-escalation and patient immobilization
• Required to wear Body Armor, taser, baton, and handcuff associated gear while on duty
• In order to drive a Lovelace owned vehicle you must possess a valid NM driver’s license on your person no DUI/DWI within the last five years

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Experience in general security
• 1 year security experience
• Hospital environment
• CPR Certification
