General Summary:
Performs housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain rest room, work and break areas in clean and orderly condition. Removes trash from offices and other work areas. Follows established routine. Ability to read and understand cleaning instructions and information.
Essential Job Functions:
- Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules to include:
- Interior: removal of t rash and recycling; clean all interior entry glass doors; vacuum carpeted areas including cubicles and walkways; mop tiled floors; dust open surfaces, window sills, blinds, and baseboards; dust/ vacuum chairs; clean rest rooms; clean coffee stations; and vacuum ceiling diffusers/vents and ceiling corners to remove dust and cobwebs.
- Exterior: clean all exterior glass entry doors and maintain all building entrances to include removal of cigarette butts and trash from cone rete ash containers and trash from trash bins.
- Order, store, distribute and replenish all supplies as needed.
- Must be capable of safely handling government furnished equipment and materials.
- Must be available to work a standard weekly schedule with overtime as required.
- Performs other duties as required.
