Key Responsibilities :
- Lead physical design efforts for low-power, multi-hierarchy ASICs, focusing on advanced technology nodes.
- Drive the implementation of backend design tasks from Netlist to GDSII, including logical synthesis, floor planning, place and route, timing analysis, and physical verification.
- Resolve design issues related to placement, routing, clock tree synthesis, and power / clock optimizations using EDA tools.
- Deliver designs that meet performance, power, and timing targets while managing constraints effectively.
- Work closely with the digital design and DFT teams to integrate IPs, address timing and congestion issues, and provide feedback on physical design decisions.
- Automate key design processes through scripting to improve productivity and design quality.
