We are looking for a skilled and motivated Farm Technician 2 to join our team and contribute to the success of our rice farming operations.

As a Farm Technician Level 2, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our rice farm. This position requires hands-on experience in rice farming or similar crops, proficiency in operating farm equipment, and an understanding of irrigation and crop management practices. You will assist in various aspects of planting, cultivating, and harvesting rice, ensuring productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in rice farming or similar agricultural operations.
- Knowledge of crop production, including planting, irrigation, and harvesting techniques.
- Experience operating and maintaining farm machinery.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and under varying weather conditions.
- Flexibility in schedule
Farming operations are seasonal, as such, workloads are dependent upon the season. There are periods of time during planting and harvest when this position is expected to work significant amounts of overtime. There may be other periods during non-peak seasons (i.e., winter months) when there may be little or no work available.
