The Lutheran Home is looking for team members to join our Housekeeping Department within our health center. Whether you already have housekeeping experience or want to start a new career; you can have a fresh start with us. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Maintain cleanliness in the resident’s room.
- Clean bathrooms daily and restock toiletries as needed.
- Empty trash cans and dispose of the waste in designated areas.
- Keep hallways swept and mopped.
- Clean common areas of the facility including hallways, living rooms and dining rooms.
- Clean the shower room.
- Packing and moving personal items for room changes.
- Clean and change out beds as needed.
- Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings per policy.
- Follow proper procedures in the use of chemicals in the workplace and insure they are locked up when not in use.
