The Lutheran Home is looking for dedicated Full-Time Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the daily laundry operations for our healthcare community ensuring that linens and personal items are cleaned and delivered efficiently. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver and store residents’ personal items and clean linens.
- Remove articles from washer or dryer and hang or fold them per procedure.
- Clean machine filters and keep laundry area clean.
- Examine and sort clothing and linens according to cleaning technique required.
- Identify items that need mending.
- Label resident clothing and personal linens with names.
- Comply with safety procedures when handling chemicals, biohazards, and soiled laundry.
- Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings per policy.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Experience in laundry services preferred
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Attention to detail
- Minimum age of 18
