Building Envelope Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Envelope Consultant to join our client's team in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building science, architecture, or engineering, with a focus on building envelope systems. You will be responsible for providing expert consultation, conducting assessments, and managing projects to ensure the integrity and performance of building envelopes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of building envelope systems.
• Develop detailed designs and specifications for new construction and retrofit projects.
• Perform testing and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of materials and systems.
• Provide expert advice and consultation to clients, architects, and construction teams.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., BETC, BEC, EP) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in building envelope consulting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building science principles, materials, and construction methods.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
