Key Responsibilities for the Human Resource Specialist:

• Oversee employee benefits programs, including enrollments, terminations, and claims processing.
• Assist with open enrollment, employee education, and vendor communication.
• Manage leave of absence requests, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain benefits records, ensure accurate payroll deductions, and support wellness initiatives.
• Maintain HRIS records (Paycom), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Process employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Address employee inquiries regarding benefits, compensation, and HR policies.
• Support HR projects, reporting, and process improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications & Skills for the Human Resource Specialist:

• Associate’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
• 1 years of HR experience, with a focus on benefits, compensation, or HRIS.
• Strong understanding of benefits administration, compensation models, and employment regulations (COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA).
• Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paycom preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism.
