Magnify is actively seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our RVA client's legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and closings. This role requires a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research on various topics
- Assist with case preparation, including drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents
- Prepare exhibits for court
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts
- Perform data entry and document management tasks
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree, Certification, or relevant experience as a Litigation Paralegal
- Proficiency in legal research and document drafting
- Knowledge of state/federal courtroom etiquette and rules as they apply to procedure, evidence, eDiscovery
- Previous usage of e-filing procedures for federal and state
- Familiarity with document management systems
- Proficiency with the MS Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of research software, including Lexis Nexis
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
