Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs accurately.
- Maintain and update patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide caregiving support in assisted living environments, including dementia care.
- Administer tube feeding as required.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation and scheduling.
- Support patients with developmental disabilities by providing compassionate care and assistance.
Experience
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
- Previous experience in caregiving or assisted living settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Experience working with individuals who have dementia is a plus.
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic clinical procedures is necessary.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Epic, is desirable.
