Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and customer service. This role involves ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, fabrication, and installation of machinery and equipment.
- Complete apartment turns.
- Mowing/weedeating of property.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical systems, including logic controllers and schematics.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and efficiency.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Proficient in reading schematics and understanding logic controllers.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including welding and fabrication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a team environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
