TITLE: Business Office Manager
REPORTS TO: Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor
Non-Exempt
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The purpose of this position is to assist the Nurse Supervisor/ Charge Nurse with day-to-day recordings and the Director of Nursing may require the Director of Nursing may require charting of medical or administrative information in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern medical records, and as.
ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Record medical/ administrative information in accordance with established documentation policies and procedures.
- Maintain a up to date roster of residents for your assigned unit.
- Answer telephone calls, page calls, and deliver messages to residents and staff as needed.
- Respond to needs of residents/ answer call light as delegated.
- Review all rehab, treatment, and restraint records for completion.
- Notify CNA of omissions, and report to Unit Coordinator if omissions are not correct.
- Forward new diet orders/ diet changes to the Food Service Director.
- Complete other duties assigned or as needed by the facility.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Exceptional Communications Skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong Adaptability in most software applications.
