Now Hiring – Overhead Crane Operator (3rd Shift)
Location: University Park, IL
Shift: 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Training on 1st Shift)
Pay: $20.00/hour
Type: Temp to Hire
Requirements: Drug Test and Background Check Required
We are seeking dependable and team-oriented individuals for a 3rd Shift Overhead Crane Operator position. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is ready to contribute to team success, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Operate overhead cranes to unload trucks and railcars
Keep production lines stocked and organized in the Coil Bay
Read production schedules and pull/stage required materials
Maintain a clean and safe work area (5S practices)
Unwrap coil packaging and dispose of waste properly
Dump trash and scrap bins as needed
Follow directions from supervisors and adjust to facility needs
What We’re Looking For:
Must meet daily production quotas
Flexible with start/end times and available for overtime with short notice
Strong team player willing to help others and contribute to team goals
Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
