REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must understand electrical theory and can read and interpret blueprints
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform the following tests as required per established procedures: ratio (variety), resistance (variety), continuity, VFI, CT, and HIPOT (applied potential).
- Inspection of unit nameplates, stamp impedance value on nameplates, and secure nameplates to tested units.
- Perform visual inspection on interior of unit upon completion of testing.
- Completing various company forms to communicate inspection status and other information and to document inspection results per established procedures.
- Collecting various types of data per established procedures as required.
- Quality Engineer in this role will be expected to perform tests on assembly of transformers per established procedures in efforts to monitor conformance to quality standards.
