Essential Functions
1️⃣ Job Preparation:
- Review job orders and gather necessary materials for machine setup.
- Lay up parts according to work order instructions.
- Enter parameters in the press control screens to ensure proper pressures, temperatures, and times are met.
- Perform initial quality checks on parts, including length, width, thickness, and weight.
- Handle finished products and prepare paperwork for timely transfer to the quality department.
- Work with different types of materials, including fiberglass.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of incident report completion and contribute to safety awareness and suggestions for improvements.
- Properly train new employees on press operations.
- May be selected for press lead role development.
- Keep the machine running smoothly by following usage instructions and notifying appropriate team members for troubleshooting or minor repairs.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience, with a preference for experience in manufacturing.
