Technology and Licensing Associate
Our client is a top firm, seeking a junior to mid-level associate for its Tech Group in San Francisco or Austin. The firm is considering candidates with experience in other relevant practices, such as IP litigation who are interested in pivoting to a tech practice group. The salary range for this role is between $235k to $365.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in drafting and negotiate licensing, partnering, and commercial agreements; experience drafting and negotiating venture financing or M&A transactions; and/or experience in IP disputes.
- Experience with general IP, privacy, and business/product counseling.
- Strong interest in working with startup and venture capital clients.
- Technical degree is not required for this role.
- Strong interest in emerging technology and IP law is a must.
- The firm is most interested in candidates with big law experience.
- California or Texas bar admission required.
- Excellent academic credentials as well as strong writingn skills.
