APS Investigator - Southeast IN Region

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Investigate allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation involving endangered adults
• Conduct thorough investigations, including interviews, record reviews, and collaboration with other investigative agencies
• Initiate and facilitate referrals to services and community resources
• Document investigation activities, including case planning, safety planning, case notes, and
• findings
• Serve as the Priority A (within 24 hours of receipt) responder to initiate timely contact with clients facing immediate harm on a rotating basis
• Respond to all assigned investigations within the required timeframe
• Review and respond to quality assurance evaluations

• Must be computer literate and have MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet skills
• Ability to foster teamwork with all levels of management and staff
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Strong decision-making skills, with accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1 years of experience with APS, investigatory, social services, human services, or law enforcement work

Work Setting:

This APS Investigator Role is Fully Remote, however, regular travel to the Counties you cover is required. The Counties in the Southeast Region are:

Compensation:

As required by applicable law, Marion Edwards provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $47,80.00 - $54,150.00.

We provide 120 PTO hours and 80 Holiday hours. If employment starts on or before the 15th of the month the initial accrual of 10 hours /month will be received. If employment starts after the 15th of the month, accrual starts the following month.
