Position Overview:
The purpose of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role at Marshall Pediatric Therapy is to provide exemplary positive behavior support services to children.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Active RBT Certification or commitment to complete RBT certification
- Approximately one (1) year of experience working with a pediatric population
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team-based atmosphere
- Motivated to meet productivity targets and contribute to company growth
- Solid work history and consistent attendance
- Ability to effectively & professionally communicate verbally and in documentation
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Active RBT certification preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
Essential Functions:
- Manage administrative responsibilities such as timely documentation per discipline guidelines and productivity tracking
- Appropriately managing challenging behavior per treatment plan
- Implement treatment protocols and behavior support plans with high levels of fidelity
- Receive and act on constructive feedback
- Collect data to monitor the progress of the children we serve
- Maintain and complete appropriate documentation to demonstrate maintenance of supervision requirements
- Participate in continuing education in order to lead the community with new treatment and evaluation techniques
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with families, colleagues, referral sources, and community agencies
- Adheres to the ethical code provided by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Other duties as assigned- this can include helping in other areas of the clinic when you are not scheduled with a child such as working as a therapy aide or helping in the front office
- Have the ability to stand and stay on their feet for prolonged periods of time and bend, kneel, crouch, and lift weight of up to 50 pounds.
