Nutrition Coordinator – Full Time

General Description

The Nutrition Coordinator will assist the Registered Dietician in all nutrition and dietary functions, tasks, and projects to ensure proper nutrition is provided to our residents.

Wage: $19-$20.74/hr. depending on applicable experience as determined by HR and the Hiring Manager

Some fun things you’ll do:

  • Update and maintain tray card information
  • Print and distribute menus 
  • Manage and print tray cards
  • Visit residents to gather info on food preferences and assist residents with menu selections as needed
  • Communicate to the Registered Dietitian (RD), as indicated, regarding any changes in residents’ nutritional status, diet tolerance, intake, etc.
  • Update menus, spreadsheets and HACCP logs
  • Manage labels for snack items
  • Update resident profile cards/tray cards/menus according to current diet order and changes in food preferences
  • Update nourishment list
  • Participate in tray audits
  • Provide training as needed in service and policy
  • Create and monitor signage for dining rooms
  • Participate in meetings with staff as needed
  • Comply with and ensure departmental compliance to state and federal guidelines
