Our Opportunity:
Martin, one of the nation’s leading providers of custom-tailored solutions for maintenance, repair, and operation supplies (MRO) to the industrial and construction markets, is looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR). As a CSR, you provide superior customer service to key accounts by delivering products and services that meet or exceed customer’s expectations to ensure the Martin motto of "Helping Companies Operate Better" comes to fruition.
What You'll Do:
- Builds strong customer relationships by providing excellent service, acting as primary liaison between customer and Martin Fastening, and promptly addressing any problems or issues raised by customer.
- Assists Customers by proving the information and utilizing all available resources and tools for product selection, order placement, order management, pricing, invoicing, and order delivery.
- Assists in preparation and tracking of quotes, using Sharepoint, S2K, Excel, or other programs as required.
- Enters and tracks customer orders from inception through delivery.
- Expedites customer product or raw material as required.
- Communicates with sales as required to setup customer, customer parts, and manage customer daily operations.
- Demonstrates consistent, professional, customer-oriented, dependable, on-time performance.
- Maintains professionalism and composure in a dynamic, team based environment where priorities quickly change.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize as required for optimum customer satisfaction.Ability to communicate effectively with customer, sales, suppliers, and other team members.
- Ability to make decisions based on information available.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions within specified time frames.
- Possession of intermediate to advanced MS Office and general computer skills.
- 3 Years of experience in fastening industry a plus.
- Bachelor Degree in Business or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
