Job Summary

Massanutten Resort is hiring a full-time team Digital Marketing Supervisor to assist with digital and social strategy, along with campaign execution and data analysis. This encompasses digital ad campaigns, content creation, resort storytelling and social media oversight for Massanutten. This person will also assist with implementing digital technologies and applications. A weekly audit of Massanutten guest and owner feedback touchpoints (review sites, weekly comment cards, etc) will be required along with assistance with trademark and copyright activities in conjunction with Director and legal counsel.

The position requirements include strategic planning, content capture, production, posting, distribution and community management of channels including social media, website, PR distribution channels and more.

This Supervisor will assist in helping promote and build both Resort’s brand and reputation. They will be involved in the content and creative aspects of making the Resort’s story come to life while ensuring the content follows the resort’s clearly defined brand and communications guidelines. They will have a hand in many different types of on-the-ground marketing and communications projects and be responsible for delivering results on-time in a fast-paced environment.

Our candidate will have experience in digital and social media ad marketing, data analysis and ad optimization/ad fatigue management techniques, content creation, storytelling, social media, and copywriting. The position will assist in both personally creating content as well as helping facilitate photoshoots with contracted photographers/models and larger third-party brand shoots.

Typical Schedule

Days:

Mon-Fri; weekends and holidays when needed

Hours:

9AM-5PM

Core Responsibilities

  • Research competitors’ pricing and products and campaign strategy
  • Work with management on appropriate placement of ads
  • Determine what content will reach customers
  • Publish digital marketing content online
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns; utilizing customer journeys, A/B testing, and more
  • Measure digital and social traffic/engagement/marketshare
  • Monitor social media and Google Analytics working closely with data analyst and management.
  • Optimize digital and Adwords campaigns using SEO, SEM, and other tools and techniques
  • Report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders
  • Scale campaigns to maximize ROI
  • Brainstorm and implement experiments and conversion tests
  • Weekly review of guest and owner touchpoints (reviews sites, comments cards, etc) to ensure brand messaging is aligned with feedback.
  • Assistance with trademark and copyright activities; team and Resort mark usage, external issues
