We are seeking a personable, organized, and customer-focused Tenant Services Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for our marina tenants. This role is responsible for ensuring a positive tenant experience, managing slip and dock assignments, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the marina. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service in a waterfront environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main liaison for all marina tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally
- Manage slip assignments, reservations, renewals, and lease agreements
- Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring all documentation and payments are complete
- Assist with billing, payment processing, and account reconciliation for tenant services
- Maintain accurate tenant records and databases
- Monitor marina facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with rules and regulations
- Support marina events, tenant communications, and community engagement initiatives
- Coordinate maintenance requests with operations staff and track work order completion
- Provide information on marina policies, local boating regulations, and nearby amenities
- Assist with emergency procedures and act as a point of contact during incidents
- Work closely with management to identify opportunities to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or experience in hospitality, property management, or marine operations preferred
- 2 years of customer service, property management, or marina/boating industry experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic database management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working in outdoor waterfront conditions as needed
- Knowledge of boating terminology, marina operations, and maritime safety is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working directly with slip or dock management systems
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Familiarity with Coast Guard regulations and local maritime laws
