What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Advisor position at Maus Family Auto?
We are currently seeking a Service Advisor to become an integral part of our team! Maus is a rapidly growing auto group in the Tampa Bay area! We have full benefits, 401(k) with company participation, catered Saturday lunches, and a family atmosphere.
General Accountabilities
- Asks customers to explain specific vehicle issues.
- Takes detailed notes about symptoms based on customer testimony.
- Enters customer information into system database.
- Advises customer on necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Works with customer to formulate the best service plan for their budget and needs.
- Creates repair orders.
- Provides cost estimates to customers.
- Answers questions posed by customers.
- Maintains electronic and/or paper records of completed service work.
- Explains the work completed by mechanics and makes suggestions for future maintenance.
Job Qualifications
- Previous advising experience or industry-related experience preferred
- Must by 18 years or older
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends
