The Plumbing Foreman role encompasses all Journeyman and Plumber Apprentice III responsibilities, along with additional supervisory and technical duties. This position requires a Trainer/Teacher mentality, proficient communication skills, and the ability to coordinate crew tasks under established procedures. The Foreman will assist with daily and weekly schedule development, track trade activities, and report weekly labor and productivity to the General Foreman and Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision and perform technical responsibilities.
- Coordinate crew tasks and assist with schedule development and tracking.
- Report weekly labor and productivity for the crew to the General Foreman and Superintendent.
- Implement detailed work plans and THA policy.
- Demonstrate understanding of McCarthy Safety Guidelines and Procedures.
- Assist with trade-related material, tool, and equipment requisitions, including tool tracking and service logs.
- Perform testing, inspecting, and recording for all installations to ensure compliance with local and national code standards.
- Provide information to maintain proper “As-builts” record drawings.
- Demonstrate leadership mentality and run small TI projects with a minimum crew size of 2 people.
- Understand plans and specifications applicable to trade, including VDC/BIM models, spool sheets, and drawings.
- Promote a positive learning environment for apprentices and direct their activities.
- Understand and implement lockout/tag-out procedures for safe and secure tasks.
- Maintain all tools and equipment in serviceable condition.
- Use materials and other resources conservatively to promote project success and profitability.
- Participate in the orientation of new partners on the job site.
- Install systems and products per code, specifications, submittals, and contract documents.
- Provide applicable input promptly to maintain current “As-Built” record drawings
- Comprehensive knowledge of multiple plumbing systems applications: Waste and Vent, Storm, Domestic Water, Compressed Air, Condensate Drain, Natural Gas, Process Utilities, Fixtures, and Pumps.
- Comprehensive knowledge of multiple plumbing material applications: Steel/carbon pipe, Copper Pipe, PVC/PCV pipe, Poly Pipe applications, Stainless Steel pipe, and Aluminum pipe.
- Receives direct supervision and performs technical responsibilities.
- Coordinates own tasks under established procedures.
- Contributes to a team under general supervision.
- Demonstrates reliable judgment in resolving issues and making recommendations.
- Performs testing, inspecting, and recording for rough-in installations as required by building codes and project specifications.
- Maintains tools and equipment in serviceable condition.
- Uses materials and resources conservatively to promote project success and profitability.
- Participates in the orientation of new partners on the job site.
- Installs systems and products per code, specifications, submittals, and contract documents.
- Provides input to maintain current “As-Built” record drawings.
- Prior leadership experience required.
- Active CO State Journeyman License
- $1.00 increase to base pay if licensed.
